Trade Guard

Your trading plan, enforced.

Trade Guard counts every trade you take. When you hit your daily limit, profit target or max loss, it blocks new trades and lets you close the ones you have.

Free trial on install. No card needed. Works in Chrome with web trading terminals.

Demo terminal 0 / 3 trades
XAUUSD4,151.40
No open positions. Place a trade to try it.
Try it: place 3 trades, then a 4th.

Rules you set when you're calm. Enforced when you're not.

Most losing days aren't one bad trade. They're the fifth, sixth and seventh trade taken to win it back. Trade Guard holds the line you drew in the morning.

Daily trade limit Free

Trade Guard reads your terminal and counts each new position. One trade before your limit you get a warning; at the limit you get an alarm. Use a sound you choose, or upload your own.

Close-only lock

When a rule fires, Buy, Sell, New order and one-click trading are disabled until midnight. Closing and modifying open positions keeps working, so you're never stuck in a trade. Open a new one anyway and the whole terminal locks.

Profit target and max loss

Set today's target and maximum loss before your first trade. Hit either one and you're done for the day. Goals can be tightened during the session, never loosened.

A plan for the whole month

Set a different trade limit for every day of the next 30, with zero on days you shouldn't trade. A calendar shows which days you kept your rules and which you broke.

Your data stays on your computer

Trades, P/L and settings are stored in your browser. Trade Guard never sees your broker login and never places or changes trades.

Set up in five minutes.

  1. Add it to Chrome

Install from the Chrome Web Store. Your 7-day trial of every feature starts right away.

  2. Write your plan

Set your trades per day for the month, today's profit target and your max loss, and pick your alarm sounds.

  3. Trade as usual

Open your web terminal. Trade Guard counts trades and P/L in the background and steps in only when you break your plan.

One price. Less overtrading.

Both plans include every feature. If you don't upgrade after the trial, the trade counter and limit alarms stay free.

Questions

Which trading platforms does it work with?

Web-based terminals in Google Chrome, including MetaTrader 4 and 5 Web and broker web platforms. You can add your broker's terminal address in Settings. It can't see desktop or mobile apps, so trade in the browser while it's active.

Can I get stuck in an open trade when the lock starts?

No. In close-only mode only the controls that open new trades are blocked. Closing, partially closing and changing stop loss or take profit keep working.

Does Trade Guard trade for me or see my broker password?

No. It only reads what's on your screen to count trades and P/L. It never logs in, places orders or changes anything in your account.

What happens when the free trial ends?

The daily trade counter and limit alarms keep working for free. The lock, profit and loss goals, monthly plan and custom sounds pause until you upgrade.

Can I use one license on two computers?

Yes, each license works on 2 computers. To move it, choose "Remove key from this device" in Settings on the old one.

How do refunds work?

If Trade Guard isn't for you, email us within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund. See the refund policy.

I'm determined to overtrade. Can I turn it off?

You can remove any Chrome extension, so Trade Guard is a commitment device, not a cage. Most people find the alarm and the friction are enough to stop and think.
