Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Avinash Borude ("we") collects when you use the Trade Guard browser extension and website.

Information that stays on your computer

The extension reads your trading terminal page in your browser to count trades and calculate profit and loss. Your trades, P/L, settings, trading plan and sounds are stored only in your browser's local extension storage. They are never sent to us.

Information we collect

• Purchase details: your email address, the plan you bought, a payment reference and the last 4 digits of the mobile number you paid with, received from our payment processor so we can issue your license key and protect it. We do not store your full mobile number.
• License checks: your license key, a random device identifier created by the extension, and the extension version, sent when you activate your key and about once a day after that. When you activate a new device you also enter the last 4 digits of your mobile number, which we compare with the ones on file.
• New-device alerts: when your key is activated on a new device we record the time and an approximate city and country (derived from the connection by our hosting provider) and email them to you, so you can spot misuse of your key.

We do not collect your broker login, account numbers, positions, trading history or browsing history.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the payment.

How we use information

Only to deliver and verify your license, send receipts and license emails, give support and prevent abuse (for example, a key shared beyond its device limit). We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Retention and your rights

We keep license records while your license is active and for 2 years afterwards for tax and accounting. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by email.
